I have been an animal nut for as long as I can remember. As a small "tomboy" growing up, my grandpa would bring me every stray anyone would find. I have had from alligators, prairie dogs, raccoons, iguanas, cockatoos, other parrots and snakes to the pets people consider "normal", dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, rabbits, etc., etc., etc. People started coming to me with all their sickly finds. (Hurt birds, bunnies, snakes, you name it I might have had it.) LUCKILY, my Mom and grandpa were as animal goofy as I was! AND thanks to the both of them, we are where we are today!

I started with my first chameleon at the request from my son John, so upon seeing a Jackson Chameleon in a local Mom and pops pet store, I made my first purchase and totally fell in love! I would find myself sitting there watching him, thinking how truly amazing he was. So unique and different from any animals we had ever owned. I was hooked!

I started reading as much as I could on these truly amazing animal and found articles, saying that due to over building, and losing so much of the rain forests, someday sooner than we think, these wonderful reptiles may soon be gone forever.

That is when I started to look for the best breeder chameleons available by well known breeders. I started talking in local schools and showing the kids how wonderful these creatures are. I was invited during their "Rain forest" discussions, and the children could see the wonders of the chameleons first hand showing them why it is so important to save the rain forests!! I am known as "The Lizard Lady" to most people.

I decided to get licensed and open a corporation, and voila....The Chameleon Corral, Inc. was born!
All the chameleons we have are treated as our family pets. I have even built them their own 1000 Sq. Ft. room in my home, "the corral". My mother and my 8 year old son are my "corral keepers" and help not only with everyday care but help with all trade shows and reptile swaps. I couldn't do it without them!

We promise you the best of the best! We will not sell any chameleon that we would not buy for our own! We promise you will never get a chameleon that has been bred with any blood related parents or siblings, THAT, to us, is a total no no!!!!!

If you have any questions or comments for us, please feel free to email or call us! We will always take the time to respond!

These are terrific links ALL chameleon people should have.
